The oceanography

 Hello everyone!!

Greetings of the day.

In this post we will be talking about a topic which is widely anticipated by common people and is researched by many scientist which is oceanography!

So, as the name suggest oceanography means the study of oceans.

so first of all let me tell you the importance and the size of oceans.

around 97% of earth's water is in the ocean and 70% of earth's surface is covered by these oceans!! and due to its huge size and depth roughly 80% of these oceans are still unexplored!!

there are mainly 5 oceans on the planet 

1. Artic ocean

2.Atlantic ocean

3. India ocean

4.Pacific ocean 

5.Southern ocean

out of these 5 oceans pacific ocean is the biggest ocean in the world, it covers approximately 165 million kms!! and also the deepest point on earth the mariana trench is also located in the pacific ocean.

as of the marine life in ocean the majority of fishes and other aquatic animals live in these oceans,

different creatures such as starfish, lobsters, whales, sharks, dolphins, shrimps, krills, eels and other fishes thrive in these massive water bodies.

currently a lot of oceanography researchers are trying to find new things beneath the oceans and  who knows one day we will discover a new set of whole new creatures hiding in the deepest points of these oceans!!

although the actual topic of oceanography has much much  more to offer and discuss about but this will be it for this post..this was just an introductory post about oceanography we will see the actual contents about oceanography in brief in the near future..
